There were some very interesting and diverse pieces submitted for the Open Show, and we'd like to thank everyone who submitted, and congratulations to those who were selected.

Surface Gallery presents Open Show 2010 which this year will be held between 20th July
and 7th August 2010.
This exciting annual exhibition once again explores new creative avenues and encourages unique and experimental work. Open Show provides up and coming artists with the opportunity to enter and compete in an international open call out exhibition, and acts as a platform for showcasing individual art pieces non basis of artists background and previous achievements.
This year the Surface Gallery curatorial team have selected over 30 art pieces from 27 different artists and collectives out of hundreds of entries. This ambitiously curated selection aims to be a diverse and exciting overview of current contemporary art exploring a multitude of practises, styles and mediums. The exhibition finalists include local artists,recent graduates and emerging artists from across Britain and as far and wide as the USA.
