The Photography Open is Surface Gallery’s very first Open Show dedicated solely to showcasing the practice of a selection of emerging and established artists working within the medium of photography. The exhibition will survey new contemporary photography practice providing a platform for today’s talented up and coming photographers. The Photography Open is selected and curated by Surface Gallery’s Curatorial Team. One overall winner will be selected from the exhibition to receive a solo exhibition in one of Surface Gallery’s exhibition spaces in 2013. In collaboration with Surface Gallery, this will be an opportunity for the selected artist to showcase a new body of photographic work.
